Having Therapy With Me

Having Therapy With Me

A Space to Feel, Understand and Heal

Whether it's anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship struggles or a general sense that something isn’t right that's brought you here, I want you to know you don’t have to face it alone.

Therapy is a space where we explore what’s going on beneath the surface. It’s not about fixing you because you’re not broken. It’s about making sense of what you’re feeling, where it might come from, and how to move forward in a way that feels more aligned, grounded, and safe.

My Approach

I take a pluralistic approach to therapy which means our work is shaped by your unique needs, rather than following a rigid model. I draw from a blend of person-centred, psychodynamic, somatic and parts-based approaches with a strong focus on emotional safety, body awareness, and the impact of past experiences on the present.

I work especially well with people who:

• Feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck or dysregulated

• Have experienced childhood trauma, neglect, or emotional absence

• Struggle with boundaries, people-pleasing, or self-abandonment

• Want to reconnect with themselves after years of survival mode

• Crave depth, clarity and a space where they don’t have to pretend

You don’t need to come to therapy with the right words. You don’t have to be perfect or polished. You just need to show up as you are and we’ll take it from there.

What to Expect

The first step is a free 10-minute call where we can see if we’re the right fit. If we decide to work together, sessions are weekly and last 60 minutes.

In our sessions, you can expect:

• A calm, non-judgemental space

• A pace that honours your nervous system

• Gentle exploration and curiosity

• Sessions that stay connected to what feels most important to you

Therapy can be emotional, challenging, and tender but it can also be empowering, transformative and full of quiet moments of relief and realisation.

If you’re not sure whether therapy is right for you right now, that’s okay. You’re welcome to reach out, ask questions, and take the time you need.
